a) From the shape of the inauguration age histogram, I would expect the mean to be about the same as the median because the shape of the graph is fairly symmetric.

b) The minimum age of a president at inauguration is 42 while the maximum age stands at 69. The median is about 54.5.  The first quartile is 51 and the third quartile is about 57.5.  My expectation that the median would be about the same as the mean is correct as the mean is about 54.64.

c) The range of the middle half of the ages of new presidents is about 6.5 years.
