The distribution of the variable, Phone Usage, is skewed to the right. The center of the data is the median, which is 60. I'm using the median to find the center of this data since it contains many outliers. The outliers in the data in minutes are 300, 300, 360, 360, 370, 370, 390, 420. The variance in my data is 8286.2835 and my standard deviation is 91.029026. Using the median, the data is showing that students at Kearny typically uses their phone for an estimated 60 minutes before going to sleep. In the graph below, red indicates the median and green indicates the mean.
