Research Question:Does the Homework average predict the Quiz average?

Explanatory variable: Homework Average        Response variable: Quiz Average

Least-Square line: y=0.23123266-68.118953

Correlation coefficient:r=.055951575 Coefficient of determination:R sq=.031305788

By the results we got, we can see that there is a strong relation between the quiz scores and the homework average, and is also positive. The residualsb from the thegraph are all scattered, which is what we wanted. from the box plot , we can see that there are some outliers. The r squared value thells us the strength of the least regression line.
