STA 2023 Project-Percent Age 25-34 and percent Households with No vehicle

A) The histogram shape for Variable 1 (25-34%) is slightly skewed right, the mean 13.164 is smaller than the median 13.2. So the data shows it should actually be skewed to the left because the median is actually in fact greater than the mean.

The histogram shape for Variable 2 (%Novehicles) is slightly skewed right, with a skewed right graph, the mean is bigger than the median.so for the  percent of people with no vehicle the mean is 7.726 and the median is 6.95.

B) For Variable 1 (25-34%) the data value  is 12.3 so in the survey 12.3% of Floridians were between the age 25 and 34. Florida is below the mean 13.164 and the median 13.2. Floridas value is 0.89 standard deviations below. The mean so there is a lower percent of 25-34 years old in Florida than the national average.12.3-13.164 0.9661115

For variable 2 (%No Vehicle) Floridas data value was 7.4 so in the survey 7.4% of Floridians have no vehicle.  Floridas value is lower than the mean 7.726 but higher than the median 6.95. Floridas value is 0.02 standard deviation below the mean, so there is a lower percent of people in Florida with no vehicle than the national average.

C) All of the values for the states with the age range from 25-34 are very similar from 11-15%. Seeing the data for Florida considering it is  a retirement state I believe the percent is high and expected to be one of the lowest percents. It was not surprising to see the percentage of people with no vehicle was high at 29.8% in New York because there is so much public transportation it is not really necessary to have a vehicle.
