The independent variables used are 4th graders reading below proficiency, children under 6 lliving in poverty, 3 and 4 year olds not enrolled in preschool. The relationship between reading proficiency and public spending are weak, according to the line of regression the dots on the graph cluster below the line between 65 and 70. For living in poverty the line of regression is surronded by few dot plots most of the pbut lots lie beneath the line and are spread apart. Not enrolled in preschool is the strongest the dot plots cluster towards the middle of the regression line also the stats plot shows living in poverty to have the lowest correlation matrix of -0.50160
