I find those data from StatCrunch Explore data set. There are shows the each of states police graduation rates and the amount of violent crime, also shows the correctional officer wage and police officer wage. The relation between graduation rates and violent interested me. However, did normal police get more salaries than prison police? So, I suppose that more graduation rates will lead less violent crime. At first, I use the histogram, hoping to find out what relation. But it is quite hard to compare each column by this gram. After a few attempts, i got the following result.

First, using the boxplot can find that Mean of correctional officer Wage is lower than Police officer Wage. (Correctional: 16.48 and Police: 20.40825). The mean is the average of the Wage. So, the first result is the most of police get more salaries than correctional officer.#

Second, using the Multi Plot can find that the data has a tendency to change. Check the Correlation, it is shows a negative number(-0.6923). A negative correlation is a relationship between two variables such that as the value of one variable increases, the other decreases. The result for the Multi plot is when police graduation rates increases, the amount of violent crime will decreases.#

Note that means are not displayed in a boxplot. They show medians.
