I created my analysis on the number of total crimes in the United States in 2017.

My Summarized statistics are as followed and the results are below.

 My data was from https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2017/crime-in-the-u.s.-2017/topic-pages/tables/table-20 and I recored all 50 States regarding there total number of crimes found in the US. 

The average or mean number of total murders in the United States in 2017 was 302.6.

Next i did a boxplot as followed below and as you can see, there are 2 outliers in my boxplot.

 

This Data set interest me because i am a crime junkie and have an interest in crimal justice so looking up these results was interesting to see how many types of murders happened using different weapons. 

My analysis did confirm something new to me because I never realized the different waepons were used in the United States that would cause a murder.
