According to the graphical data representative of 650 individuals, (348 females and 302 males) it is clear that females own more shoes than males. In addition, males had a more consistant number of shoes than the females. From the histograms, both distributions of the pairs of shoes for males and females is skewed to the right. When a graph displays skewed right, the mean is larger than the median. The summary chart shows the relation between the mean and median, where the mean is slightly larger than the median for both males and females. 

The mean for the shoe amount for the 302 males was 10 and the median was 6.The minimum amount of shoes was at 1 pair and the maximum amount of shoes was 100 with a range of 99. The interquartile range was 6 and the standard deviation 0.82.

The mean for the shoe amount for the 348 females was 26.4 and the median was 20. The minimum amount of shoes was at 1 pair and 100 with a range of 99. The interquartile range was at 24 and the standard deviation 21.54.

About 10% of the males had about 2 pairs of shoes or less. About 10% of females had 6 pairs of shoes or less.

 Looking at the boxplot chart, there are numerous outliers. Given the Q1, Q3 and IQR the upper fences can be calculated.  The upper fence for the females is at 70.5. The outliers consist of 75, 75, 99, and 100 to name a few. The upper fence for the males is at 19. The outliers consist of 12, 15, 25, and 100 to name a few.
